Jane Warren - a Wealth of Film Experience
Born in England, Jane Warren spent her childhood in Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
After a successful career in Johannesburg, South Africa, first as a television presenter/producer and then as a feature film casting director working all over Africa, Jane moved to Cape Town in 1993 to produce international television commercials and open her own production company.
Now based in USA as well as South Africa, Jane returns to Cape Town for the summer commercials season - November to April.
Film and Television Experience
Television
Jane first appeared in commercials and TV dramas, before setting up her own successful casting company in Johannesburg.
Between 1983 - 1986, she presented a live weekly SABC TV show, "Prime Time", for which she was nominated Best Female TV Presenter.
Producing most of her own pre recorded interviews and magazine clips for "Prime Time", Jane also presented several documentary series for television - including "Gracious Places", "Megawatt", "The Health Club Challenge" and produced the "Take 5 Quiz and Game Show" for M-Net.
Feature Films
As a founding member of the Casting Director's Guild of South Africa, Jane worked on more than 20 international feature films between 1987 - 2006, on location in Namibia, Cote d'Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Tunisia, Morocco and South Africa.

Cape Town - International Commercials Service
In 1994, Jane relocated to Cape Town, where she produced, serviced and production managed over 200 international commercials for Cape Town's top service companies, before opening her own company, Jane Warren Productions, in April 2004.
Freelance Producer
Since late 2006, Jane spends part of each year in U.S.A. where she has family but returns "home" to Cape Town during the South African summer season to produce international TV commercials - and work on other film projects.
Philosophy
Jane's straightforward, hands on, solutions-based style of production makes her a popular choice with crew and clients alike. As a producer, she knows the importance of communication and of working with the best available hand-picked team.
